Get to know Boadilla del Camino
As its name suggests, the town of Boadilla del Camino was born to provide services to pilgrims. The story goes that the first people to arrive in the village were surprised by its good land.
You will only find the most basic services, so few pilgrims decide to make the end of the stage in this small town.

What to see
Rollo Gótico Jurisdiccional
The Jurisdictional Gothic Rollo is a sign of jurisdictional autonomy that the town acquired thanks to a privilege of Henry IV, by which the town ceased to be subject to the jurisdiction of the lords of Melgar and Castrojeriz.
Here the convicts were tied with chains to expose them to public shame before being sent to justice.

Palomares
There are a large number of dovecotes scattered throughout Hontanas. All of them have the following structure, square plan and earthy facade.
These dovecotes abound especially in the parish of Campos, where many pigeons used to arrive to breed in their niches.

Lavaderos
The washhouses are a recent construction, which was completed in 1955. These function as an ethnographic sample of the way of life of other times.

Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción
The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption was proclaimed a Historic and Artistic Monument in 1981. It was built between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, although the vaults were not covered until 1770, also has a header of the second half of the sixteenth century while the main body was built in the early seventeenth and renovated in the eighteenth. It also has Romanesque remains as it was built on an earlier Romanesque church.

Fuente Vieja
The Fuente Vieja (Old Fountain) is an old fountain that has a very striking wheel mechanism for pilgrims. It is located in a leisure area with tables and barbecues.
