What to see

Rollo Gótico Jurisdiccional

The Jurisdictional Gothic Rollo is a sign of jurisdictional autonomy that the town acquired thanks to a privilege of Henry IV, by which the town ceased to be subject to the jurisdiction of the lords of Melgar and Castrojeriz.

Here the convicts were tied with chains to expose them to public shame before being sent to justice.
