About this stage
Today’s satage is an easy stage, you won’t have to walk more than 20 kilometres. The routes are easy. In Montamarta, end of the stage you will be able to visit mnay interesting places such as the the Iglesia de San Miguel Arcángel church and the Ermita de Santa María del Castillo hermitage.
Recommendation Pilgrim
If you are not tired you can continue to Fontanillas de Castro or even to Riego del Camino. You won’t find any services between the villages, so you will have to buy all the needed stuff before starting. This stage is easy for everyone.

Km 0 – Inicio
You will leave Zamora from the Plaza Mayor square. Once you get there you will have to cross some streets more to get out of the city. Then you will have to walk up through the Avenida de Galicia avenue, where you will find another roundabout. You won’t continue through the national road because you will have to go to the left, through a path towards La Hiniesta. Just after one kilometre you will have to turn right to enter into a new path. Then, after walking up you will have to turn right again and then you will get to the N-630 after turning left to get to Roales del Pan. In this village you will find some services and also a church called Iglesia de la Asunción. Then you will have to turn right and then left. You will have to walk straight forward for two hours. Once you get to a crossing you will have to continue through the right and then you will see a signing that indicates that you are now in Montamarta.
