How to get there
The main way to reach this small town is by the A-66 highway or the national road N-630. The first passes very close to the village and the second crosses the town. Both communicate the cities of Seville and Gijón.
It is also possible to reach the village by bus from places like Salamanca, Cáceres, Madrid, Béjar and Plasencia.

Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Olmo
The church of Nuestra Señora del Olmo was designed in masonry, elaborated with wide buttresses and a rectangular tower next to the chancel, which is accessed by external stairs. Due to its unique characteristics it is considered a temple of great importance in the entire Iberian Peninsula.
Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de San Servando
The church of Nuestra Señora de San Servando consists of a single nave and is divided into three sections, which in turn have two semicircular stone arches supported by Ionic columns. In this last part there is a choir or tribune and, both at the head of the nave and on the sides of it, there are two niches arranged in semicircular arches.
