How to get there

It is quite easy to get to Sebrayo, whether coming from Asturias, Cantabria or Castilla y Leon as next to the village passes the A-8 highway. At exit 353 or 360 you have to take the national road N-632 until you see the Sebrayo turnoff.

To get there by public transport is more complicated since being so small does not have a transport network. The most advisable option is to take a cab in Ribadesella.

The Church of Santa María de Sebrayo is a temple of great proportions built in the thirteenth century in Romanesque style. As for its structure, it has a rectangular plan formed by a single nave covered with wood gabled and topped by a chancel all under a barrel vault roof.

In its interior it highlights the triumphal arch that separates the head of the nave, supported on columns decorated with plant motifs and its exterior highlights the large central window formed by a semicircular arch supported by columns also with plant motifs.
