This stage has nothing to do with the previous one. We could even describe
it as a legbreaker, as it will be a continuous up and down, crossing rivers,
creeks, highways, viaducts, beaches and many hamlets and neighbourhoods.
Recomendación Pilgrim
At this point, there are two possible alternatives to the original route. The first consists of deviating from the Espiritu Santo viewpoint towards El Pito, following the coast and passing through Aguilar beach. The second, which begins immediately after crossing the Nalón River and passing through San Esteban de Pravia, continues from there to Muros de Nalón. Cyclists and people with reduced mobility must exercise extreme caution on this stage

We set off from Avilés heading towards one of the largest beaches in the area: Salinas. In
order to get there, we take Alemania avenue and go up to San Cristobal. After a few

path that leads to Piedras Blancas. We cross the village and take the track towards Sierra
del Cordel, descending later to La Ventaniella (Santiago del Monte)
We cross the road that leads to Asturias airport and take road AS-318. Shortly after, we
reach a junction where we will turn left to take a forest track across the woods to Soto del

beautiful San Martín’s fort, in the small hamlet of El Castillu. As we follow the same road,
we soon reach Soto del Barco.
