Embalse de San Martiño
The San Martiño Reservoir is considered a Point of Ecological Interest because the Cormorant, one of the best known migratory birds in A Rúa and coming from Great Britain, does not breed in this reservoir, but it does stop over. This bird nests in colonies, on cliffs or flat rocks and sometimes also in trees in the interior. It usually arrives at the reservoir in winter.
