This stage is easier than yesterday’s stage. You will cross the Embalse de Salime reservoir. First you will have to get to the embalse de Salime reservoir in the Navia river. Then you will have to walk up a little bit to get to Grendas de Salime, the last Asturian part in this way.
You will have to return to the path that took you to La Mesa the day before, so you will start this stage walking up a little bit to get to Buspol where you will find a wind farm. Then you will see just the remains of an old hermitage devoted to Santa Marina. Now you will have to descend to get to the Navia river and also to the Embalse the Salime reservoir. Walking through the mountain slopes and also through forest paths, you will have to walk through a path to the left, after six kilometers you will get to Buspol, then you will walk through the AS-14. You are close to the reservoir, but first you will see the wonderful landscape in the viewpoint located in Boca de la Ballena. Continuing through the AS-14 you will cross the reservoir and you will walk to Vistalegre. After a turn away to Pénjamo you will have to turn left to get to Grandas de Salime and enjoy the wonderful forest. You will find a signal that indicates you the way that you should follow to get to the end, first you will have to turn right through the Avenida Ferreiro avenue to get to the hostel.
