Km 0 – Inicio
From A Gudiña, we return on our steps towards the train tracks, and turn right, without
entering the national road, leaving the Calle Mayor, towards the square with the same
name. There we will see a milestone, which shows us two possible alternatives.
We will continue with the description of the itinerary of the latter alternative. We
connect from the square with the street Cima de Aldea, ending by leaving in the old Verea
Vella and entering the Serra Seca. A Venda do Espiño is about three kilometres away,
always following the roadside, and another three kilometres to A Venda da Teresa. From
here, we continue along a path that dies on a slightly wider path, and we can already
appreciate the reservoir of As Portas, bathed by the waters of the river Camba. We cross
the nearby train tracks and enter the town of Vilariño de Conso, in the place of A Venda
da Capela. We crossed this small village and, as before, we walked another three
kilometres on asphalt first and then on a narrower track, going down the slope to the next
village of Campobecerros, a key point of the day, because there we can find various
services where we can recharge our batteries and canteens.
We return to the road, and continue to the left until we reach Portocamba, a small village
that we cross until we reach a detour on the left after passing a wooden cross. We will
walk following the undulations of the mountain, always with the wonderful views of the
whole valley and of the mountain up to As Eiras, town that we leave for a rest area taking
a descending road looking for the Cereixo river. Before entering Laza, we will connect
with the county and arrive at the hostel through the street of o Toural, ending this
stage.
