Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Sarria

You will arrive at Sarria on your own or through the means we have managed to make your transfer to the beginning of the Camino to start walking. From here, and depending on the time of arrival, you can make visits to different points of interest in the town, such as the Monastery of La Magdalena, the Tower of the Fortress or the Chapel of Saint Lazarus. We start walking to Sarria and depending on the arrival time, you can visit many interesting things such as the Escalinata da Fonte staircase that is used by pilgrims to go to the center of the village and also visit the Monasterio de la Magdalena monastery.

Day 2: Sarria – Portomarín

(22,75km/14 miles)

After breakfast at Sarria’s accommodation, you will start the first stage of the route that will take you to Portomarín. Stage with a duration of 22 km and a low difficulty.

After crossing beautiful landscapes and villages such as Ferreiros, you will arrive at Portomarín, where you will be able to visit different points of interest such as the Escalinata or the Capilla das Neves, which will welcome you as soon as you enter the village, or the Church of San Nicolás (or also known as the church of San Juan).

Day 3: Portomarín – Palas de Rei

(25 km/ 15miles)

After breakfast at Portomarín’s accommodation, you will begin the second stage of your Pilgrim’s Way to Santiago in the direction of the town of Palas de Rei. The stage has a duration of 25 km and an average difficulty.

After arriving at Palas de Rei, you will be able to visit different points of interest in the town and enjoy emblematic places such as the imposing Pambre Castle, just a few minutes from the Way.

Day 4: Palas de Rei – Arzúa

(29 km/18 miles)

The stage that will lead you to Arzúa is the longest of this experience, as it consists of 29 km long and medium difficulty. You will cross the town of Melide, famous for its octopus, an ideal spot to stop for a long walk. After going through emblematic places, such as the village of Boente or the Bridge of Ribadiso, you will finally reach the village of Arzúa.

Day 5: Arzúa – O Pedrouzo

(19,1 km/12 miles)

The stage between Arzúa and O Pedrouzo is the penultimate stage before the arrival in Compostela, It is a simple stage with a duration of fewer than 20 km.

You will arrive in O Pedrouzo, you can visit different points of interest in the place such as the parish church of Santa Eulalia de Arca or even approach the beautiful scenery of the Fervenza del Río Noa.

Day 6: O Pedrouzo – Santiago de Compostela

(22,75km/14 miles)

After having breakfast in the lodging of O Pedrouzo you will face the last km that separate you from the Plaza de Obradoiro and the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. Strolling through the monumental area you will advance with the nervousness of reaching the Plaza del Obradoiro and feel the satisfaction of having fulfilled the objective.

Day 7: Santiago de Compostela

Lodging with Breakfast Free day to visit all those monuments that, besides the Cathedral, make up the great capital of Galicia.

After breakfast our services will be finished.
