Along this stage we return to green, mountain walks, away from not only the
industrialisation we found in previous stages, but also civilisation itself! Let’s return to
nature!
Recommendation Pilgrim
At a certain moment, cyclists will have the options whether to continue along the mountain
paths or along an asphalted path, which will make their journey much easier. This stage
has no barriers for those people with a physical disability, as they can also take
advantage of the asphalted path.

Itinerary
Km 0 ‧ Beasain
In Beasain, we walk along Oriamendi Street, in the direction of Igartza monuments. Upon
leaving the village, we go left until we cross beneath a dual carriageway and then cross
the railway tracks and pass the River Oria. Then we go through an industrial estate and
when we leave it, take the GI-2637 road in order to pass beneath the A-1 motorway once
again, leaving the Aizkoeta industrial estate on our left-hand side.
Km 17 ‧ Zegama
We continue on in the direction of Segura, where upon arriving, we should look for the
River Oria again. We follow the paths alongside the hermitage of San Andrés, thus taking
advantage of earthen paths and areas of natural beauty in the mountains, until we arrive
at Zegama, the end of the stage.
