This is one of the most beautiful stages of this trip, which also does not present
significant physical difficulties. We will walk along a large part of the route along the
seaside, discovering towns such as Baiona, A Ramallosa or the stunning city of Vigo,
where we will end our stage.
Pilgrim Recommendation
This coastal stage will be the last one with beaches and sights to the Atlantic coast, as we will
not the see this landscape in the next one. We will have the Cíes isles on the horizon during this
stage to enjoy their beauty.

Itinerary
Km 0 ‧ Baiona
We leave Baiona to start our route next to the wall of the church and then turn into
Manuel Valverde Street, going down a staircase that leads us to the Plaza del
Ayuntamiento (Town Hall Square). We will take a diversion following the yellow arrows
along Rúa do Conde and Rúa Porta da Vila. We continue along Rúa Loureiral and Rúa do
Burgo, moving parallel to the coast, cross the river Baiña over a small stone bridge and
continue on to Sabarís
Km 3 ‧ Sabarís
We continue along Rúa da Ponte Nova and cross two streams over two stone bridges. We
go up Rúa Viso de Calvos and turn left along Camiño do Lindeiro. Moving forward, we
reach the banks of the river Miñor where we cross over the Romanic bridge of A
Ramallosa. IMPORTANT: After crossing the bridge we will find the junction that
separates
the Inland Camino from the Coastal route. We should take the option on the left, following
the green arrows that mark this route. Very soon, moving in this direction we will
find A
Ramallosa.
Km 4,5 ‧ A Ramallosa
We will advance parallel to the Miñor river and the bicycle lane along Torrente Ballester
Avenue and follow the arrows until we reach Playa América. At the end of the beach, we
continue along the pedestrian walkway and Rúa Cidade de Vigo to reach Panxón Beach
and then Patos Beach, from where we can see the Cíes Islands on the horizon.
Continuing along Rúa de Coba and Camiño do Portiño we reach Saiáns.
Km 11,9 ‧ Saiáns
We follow the Ricardo Mella Avenue through the pedestrian area, when we reach a
roundabout on the avenue we continue straight on for about two kilometres and we reach
the coastal town of Oia. (WARNING: At this point the green arrows will indicate a
diversion on the right that goes uphill and makes a detour that will take us back to the
avenue we were on, so we recommend going straight on and not taking this diversion.
Km 14,9 ‧ Oia
We continue along Ad. Cesareo Vázquez, reaching Canido Beach and Praia do Vao. From
this point the itinerary is totally intuitive and very easy to follow, as after a few metres we
will reach the mouth of the Lagares River and we will be in Samil, the prelude to the city
of Vigo. From Samil beach we can reach the city centre by walking along Avenida de
Samil, and then taking Avenida da Atlántica, which will take us into the heart of the city,
where we will have completed our stage.
