Day 1
Arrival and accommodation
Sarria

Depending on your arrival time, you can visit various points of interest such as the Monastery of La Magdalena, the Fortress Tower, or the Chapel of San Lázaro. Additionally, the wide range of local cuisine will allow you to enjoy a good meal to start the Camino with energy.

Sarria – Portomarín

Portomarín

You will wake up at your accommodation in Sarria to start the day full of energy and begin the walk towards Portomarín. Along the way, it is important to stop at places like the Church of Santiago de Barbadelo, decorated with scallop shells, or the Sanctuary of Nosa Señora dos Remedios.

After crossing beautiful landscapes and villages like Ferreiros, you will arrive at Portomarín, where you can visit various points of interest such as the Staircase or the Chapel das Neves right upon entering the town, or the Church of San Nicolás (also known as the Church of San Juan).

Portomarín – Palas de Rei

You will wake up at your accommodation in Portomarín to start the day fully energized and begin walking towards Palas de Rei. Along the way, it is important to stop at places like the Castro de Castromaior, just a few meters from the Camino, the Church of Santa María de Castromaior, or the Church in Vilar de Donas, declared a Cultural Heritage site in 1931.

Upon arriving at Palas de Rei, you can visit various points of interest and enjoy landmarks like the impressive Pambre Castle, just a few minutes from the Camino.

Day 4
Palas de Rei – Arzúa

You will wake up at your accommodation in Palas de Rei to start the day energized and walk towards Arzúa. On the way, you will pass through Melide, where you should visit places like the Chapel of San Roque, the town’s patron, or the well-known Church of Santa María de Melide, a National Monument, and try a portion of its famous “pulpo á feira.” After passing iconic spots like the village of Boente or the Ribadiso Bridge, you will finally reach the town of Arzúa.

Arzúa – O Pedrouzo

On the way, it is important to stop at places like the Church of San Pedro de Lema, the Pontedapedra Mill, and the well-known Fountain of Santa Irene, called by pilgrims the “Fountain of Eternal Youth.”

Upon arriving in O Pedrouzo, you can visit points of interest like the parish Church of Santa Eulalia de Arca or enjoy the beautiful landscape of the Noa River waterfall.

O Pedrouzo – Santiago de Compostela

Finally, the destination is very close, and you will soon see the Cathedral towers from Monte do Gozo for the first time. Walking through the historic area, you will feel the excitement of reaching the Obradoiro Square and the satisfaction of having accomplished your goal.

Day 7
End of the adventure

Breakfast at the accommodation. Free day to visit all the monuments that, in addition to the Cathedral, make up the magnificent Galician capital. After breakfast, our services will have ended.

Organize Camino de Santiago

Wherever you are,
you have to live it

This is the minimum required distance walked on foot to obtain the coveted Compostela.

It is not necessary to be in top physical shape. The approximate duration of each stage on foot is 5-6 hours, which you can do at your own pace since your accommodation will be guaranteed at the end of your stage.

You will feel the thrill of finishing your adventure at the Santiago Cathedral. Entering the Obradoiro Square after more than 100 km is an indescribable feeling.
