So, if we can, it is best to avoid these months.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    We also have the <strong>winter season<\/strong>, being in the interior of\n    the country, the snow will be present in most of the route, you will have\n    photographs to remember, but your journey will be more complicated.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    The <strong>best times to do the Camino<\/strong> from Madrid, from our point\n    of view, are spring and autumn. The temperatures and climate are ideal for\n    enjoying the experience.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3 class=\"mt-4 mb-3\">How Should I do the Camino?<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    The classic and most popular option is to do the Camino on foot. the last stage you will find yourself in the middle of the\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim.es\/en\/french-way\/\">French Way<\/a>.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3 class=\"mt-4 mb-3\">Stage 1: Madrid &#8211; Tres Cantos<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    The route starts in the central area of the capital at the Plaza de\n    Santiago. The direction of this stage is always towards the north, to leave\n    the Spanish capital.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    We will walk through the most symbolic areas of Madrid such as Plaza de\n    Cibeles and Plaza de Castilla. Esta es una etapa para degustar los platos\n    t\u00edpicos de Madrid y unas tapas en las calles de la zona c\u00e9ntrica.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3 class=\"mt-4 mb-3\">Stage 2: Tres Cantos &#8211; Manzanares el Real<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    Here you will begin to enjoy the nature of the municipality with its meadows\n    and groves that contrast with the city of Madrid. You will cross the Tejada\n    stream along its banks and you will always see the characteristic landscape\n    of the Guadarrama mountain range.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3 class=\"mt-4 mb-3\">Stage 3: Manzanares el Real &#8211; Cercedilla<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    You will discover the summer town of Matalpino, which is growing every year\n    due to its natural setting, and Navacerrada, which is popular with cyclists,\n    as it is part of a famous stage of the Tour of Spain.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    In Navacerrada the yellow arrows lead to the town hall to reach the end\n    point where Cercedilla starts.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3 class=\"mt-4 mb-3\">Stage 4: Cercedilla &#8211; Segovia<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    This is one of the hardest stages of the Camino de Santiago so we recommend\n    that you prepare your feet for the occasion.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    We recommend using <strong>trekking shoes<\/strong>,\n    <a\n      href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim.es\/en\/what-footwear-is-the-right-for-the-camino-de-santiago\/\"\n      >essential footwear for summer and spring<\/a\n    >, as this is a very difficult stage and will give you greater freedom of\n    movement.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    After this hard day of walking, you will have a great reward, you will be\n    able to enjoy the view of <strong>Segovia<\/strong>, admiring its\n    <strong>cathedral<\/strong> until you reach the city.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3 class=\"mt-4 mb-3\">Stage 5: Segovia &#8211; Santa Mar\u00eda de la Real de Nieva<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    The starting point is the square of San Esteban until you reach Zamarramala\n    where you will pass through the relevant signposted places and see\n    <strong>the hermitage of Our Lady<\/strong> until you reach the most\n    important place of this stage, the municipality of\n    <strong>Santa Maria Real de Nieva<\/strong>, to enjoy its\n    <strong>monastery <\/strong>and <strong>cloister.<\/strong>.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3 class=\"mt-4 mb-3\">Stage 6: Santa Mar\u00eda de la Real Nieva &#8211; Coca<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    This day will take you through the province of Segovia until you reach\n    <strong>Valladolid<\/strong>, an almost entirely flat stage, where the pine\n    trees will protect you with their shade until you reach Coca, following the\n    Eresma River.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3 class=\"mt-4 mb-3\">Stage 7: Coca &#8211; Alcazar\u00e9n<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    In this stage, we say goodbye to the province of Segovia to discover the\n    province of Valladolid, walking through flat terrain with large pine forests\n    and the Eresma River.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    We recommend that after Villeguillo you take with you everything you need\n    for any unforeseen circumstances because, on this stretch of approximately\n    19 km, there is no establishment or service station where you can make a\n    stop or make a purchase for any unforeseen eventuality.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3 class=\"mt-4 mb-3\">Stage 8: Alcazar\u00e9n &#8211; Puente de Duero<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    You will continue with the line of flat stages, where on arrival at the\n    Brazuelas farm, a\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim.es\/en\/the-10-symbols-of-the-camino-de-santiago\/\"\n      >symbol of the Camino de Santiago<\/a\n    >, such as the Crucero Jacobeo, requires a stop to observe it.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    The stage ends at the old bridge over the Duero River, which leads to\n    another stream, the Pisuerga River.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3 class=\"mt-4 mb-3\">Stage 9: Puente de Duero &#8211; Pe\u00f1aflor de Hornija<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    On this day, the stage begins in the village of Simancas until it reaches\n    <strong>Wamba<\/strong>, a municipality with a rich history and a curiosity:\n    it is the only town in Spain that begins with a &#8220;w&#8221;.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    Here you should visit the <strong>Mozarabic church of Santa Mar\u00eda<\/strong>.\n    To finish the stage, two surprises await in the form of a steep climb which,\n    after completing stage 4, will not be a problem for your legs.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3 class=\"mt-4 mb-3\">Stage 10: Pe\u00f1aflor de Hornija &#8211; Medina de Rioseco<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    This stage begins with a large watercourse which, as you walk along it, you\n    will be able to see <strong>the remains of the Pe\u00f1aflor wall.<\/strong>\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    After this, you will continue to Castromonte, where the pilgrims stop at the\n    village bar to regain strength to finish in Medina de Rioseco.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3 class=\"mt-4 mb-3\">Stage 11: Medina de Rioseco &#8211; Cuenca de Campos<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    This is the start of the penultimate stage, before crossing the\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim.es\/en\/french-way\/\">French Way<\/a> at Medina de\n    Rioseco, known as the city of the admirals of Castile.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    This is one of the villages with the most monuments and where a stop is\n    obligatory in each one of them;\n    <strong>Church of Santa Cruz, Santa Mar\u00eda de Mediavilla<\/strong> and\n    <strong>the church of Santiago.<\/strong>\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    You will also be able to walk along the Canal de Castilla, a historic work\n    of Spanish civil engineering, before finishing the journey in Cuenca de\n    Campos.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3 class=\"mt-4 mb-3\">Stage 12. Cuenca de Campos- Santerv\u00e1s de Campos<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    This journey continues deep into Castile, nature, tranquillity and peace\n    will be your allies before taking part in the pilgrimage route par\n    excellence and discovering the\n    <strong>French Way of the Camino de Santiago.<\/strong>\n  <\/p>\n  <h3 class=\"mt-4 mb-3\">Stage 13: Santerv\u00e1s de Campos &#8211; Sahag\u00fan<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    We say goodbye to the province of Valladolid and enter the province of Le\u00f3n,\n    where the view is still similar.
