of going on pilgrimage alone<\/a>\n  <\/li>\n  <li><a href=\"#Consejos\">Tips<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<hr class=\"single-bar\" \/>\n\n<div class=\"section-post\" id=\"Ventajas\">\n  <h2 id=\"Ventajas\">ADVANTAGES OF WALKING THE CAMINO DE SANTIAGO ALONE<\/h2>\n  <p>\n    In addition to the thousands of\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim.es\/entrevista-angel-campos-peregrino\/\">testimonies of pilgrims<\/a>\n    who have done the Camino alone and have enjoyed the experience as much or\n    more than those who have done it in company, we are going to give you other\n    reasons because as we assume, for you, doubtful pilgrim, they will not be\n    enough.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>YOU ARE LORD AND MASTER OF YOUR STEPS<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    The first advantage of starting your journey alone is that you and only you\n    are <strong>the master of your own steps<\/strong>; you will walk at your own\n    pace, you will get up earlier or later depending on your daily objectives,\n    you will stop to rest only when you think it is appropriate, etc.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>PILGRIMS ON THE WAY<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    If loneliness is not your thing,<strong>,<\/strong> it is not wanted and\n    comes from your friends or family not wanting to live this magical\n    adventure, or simply could not organize dates and so on, do not worry,\n    because as soon as you start to walk the road, especially the busiest as for\n    example <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim.es\/en\/french-way\/\">the French Way,<\/a>,\n    <strong>you will begin to meet other pilgrims.<\/strong>.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    The Camino de Santiago has always been characterized by its atmosphere of\n    <strong>camaraderie, hospitality and friendliness,<\/strong>plus as we all\n    know if you travel alone, you will always be more willing to meet people and\n    you will be more open to others and that is where there is\n    <strong>another great advantage <\/strong>of doing the Camino alone, for\n    something <strong>the most veterans recommend<\/strong> living it alone,\n    since they consider that if you go accompanied by your circle of people\n    closest to you, you will lose a little that essence of the Camino that lies\n    in seeking conversation, help or support in other unknown pilgrims, although\n    they are only for the moment.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>DISCOVERING ONESELF<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    We know from our own experience that doing the Camino de Santiago alone can\n    be a great opportunity to discover yourself in unconventional situations and\n    will help you to know\n    <strong>where your physical and mental limits are<\/strong>.\n  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"section-post\" id=\"Inconvenientes\">\n  <h2 id=\"Inconvenientes\">&#8220;DISADVANTAGES&#8221; OF BEING ALONE ON THE CAMINO<\/h2>\n  <h3>BORED?<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    First of all, we may think that we are going to get bored, as we are walking\n    for so long, and if we have to walk alone for a very long stage, we may be\n    overcome by boredom and tiredness, which may lead us to give up.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    Although it can happen, we assure you almost one hundred percent that it\n    will not, because the best thing about the Camino is that it adapts to you,\n    that is, <strong>you will only be alone at the times you want,<\/strong>and\n    what characterizes this pilgrimage is the good atmosphere and the bonds of\n    friendship that are forged along the roads that make up the pilgrimage\n    route, so you do not have to have any fear that boredom overcomes you along\n    your journey to\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim.es\/en\/santiago-de-compostela\/\">Santiago de Compostela.<\/a>\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>LACK OF EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    Another reason that can put us back when deciding whether to start walking\n    the Camino or not is the fear that something happens to us and no one can\n    assist us or notify the medical services or even the fear of getting lost,\n    <strong>in our opinion<\/strong> we should not even think about these\n    situations, because even if anything happens to us along a stage we assure\n    you and we put our hand in the fire for it, that\n    <strong>any walker will help you<\/strong> as much as possible until the\n    mishap is solved and you can continue your march normally.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>GETTING LOST<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    This will be something that can happen to us and\n    <strong>more often than we think<\/strong> but we should not worry too much,\n    since any of the members of the family of the Camino de Santiago will\n    indicate and help us and\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim.es\/en\/plan-your-way\/markers-on-the-way\/\"\n      >the signage on the Camino<\/a\n    >\n    is superb.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    We will always end up taking the right route and arrive in Santiago de\n    Compostela without major complications, except for the accumulated fatigue\n    from the kilometres left behind.\n  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"section-post\" id=\"Consejos\">\n  <h2 id=\"Consejos\">TIPS FOR WALKING THE CAMINO DE SANTIAGO ALONE<\/h2>\n  <p>\n    If the problem is that as a woman pilgrim you have doubts about whether the\n    Camino will be dangerous, you feel hesitant about certain situations that\n    may occur, etc..\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    We can assure you that <strong>it does not involve any danger<\/strong>, due\n    to the atmosphere present on the Camino you will not feel unsafe at any\n    time, but if you are still undecided we hope that these tips will help you\n    to cheer you up:\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>CHOOSE A BUSY ROUTE<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    If you have not yet decided\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim.es\/ruta-elegir-camino-santiago\/\">which route to take<\/a>, opt for\n    one where you are going to find many more pilgrims, and you will see how\n    little by little, the feeling of loneliness will leave you.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>START THE JOURNEY FROM A CITY<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    It is always recommended to\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim.es\/en\/plan-your-way\/how-to-get-to-the-starting-points\/\"\n      >start from the beginning<\/a\n    >\n    of each route, but if you can&#8217;t afford it, ideally you should start in a\n    city to make it easier to get to your start point.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>PREPARE THE NEXT DAY&#8217;S STAGE<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    If you have any fears about the hostel or the Camino itself,\n    <strong>we recommend<\/strong> that the night before you study all the\n    alternatives available to you for the next stage in order to avoid any\n    setbacks.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>WALK ACCORDING TO A &#8220;PILGRIM&#8217;S TIMETABLE&#8221;<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    Start the walk at dawn, eat early and try to be at the hostel where you will\n    spend the night <strong>between 2pm and 3pm<\/strong>. This will avoid\n    walking through the night and give you a few hours of rest, which you will\n    surely appreciate.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>ASK ALWAYS<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    If you think you are not going in the right direction or simply have any\n    doubts about any subject related to the Camino,\n    <strong>stop and ask<\/strong>, anyone will be willing to help you and guide\n    you, just check the information received in case you are not convinced by\n    the answers received.\n  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"section-post\">\n  <h2>PILGRIM HELPS YOU<\/h2>\n  <p>\n    We hope to have eliminated those\n    <strong>doubts that made you anxious<\/strong> to see yourself alone walking\n    the Camino de Santiago and have encouraged you to put on your boots and load\n    your backpack to live a unique experience.
