See below to\n    discover the different options and which one suits you better.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>French Way from Sarria<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    Although some pilgrims prefer to do it in 6 days, the most popular choice is\n    the 5 days option.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    The stage that goes from Palas de Rei to Arz\u00faa can be easily divided in two\n    shorter ones. This way, some pilgrims stop\n    <strong\n      >in Melide and have a good rest before going out for some of its famous\n      octopus<\/strong\n    >, adding an extra day to their Camino.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    Nevertheless, the entire 29 km are not so hard to walk in one day, which is\n    what most pilgrims do, finishing their Camino in exactly 5 days.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>Portuguese Way from Tui<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    The <strong>second most popular option amogst pilgrims<\/strong> who cannot\n    spend much time in the Camino is to start in Tui, very close to the border\n    with Portugal, hence the name of the route.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    Walking from Tui will also grant you the Compostela,\n    <strong>since this route has almost 120 km<\/strong>. Moreover, its easy\n    stages will take you through some beautiful places of southern Galicia,\n    including Pontevedra, capital of the homonymous province.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>Coastal Portuguese Way from Vigo<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    The Portuguese Way can also be done alongside the coastline. Since it was\n    the last route to become official, it is not too crowded and, as it runs\n    next to the seaside, it\n    <strong>offers some of the best landscapes<\/strong> in the Camino de\n    Santiago.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    For a 5-day pilgrimage, you can start in Vigo and enjoy the seaside until\n    the diversion towards Santiago. You will see some of the most impressive\n    sunsets!\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>Northern Way from Vilalba<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    If you are looking for a route less crowded than the previous options, the\n    Northern Way from Vilalba is a great choice\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    This route will take you through inland Galicia, visiting many typical\n    villages. <strong>Peace and quiet are guaranteed<\/strong>.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>Primitive Way from Lugo<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    The Primitive Way is always a good choice. Its historical value comes from\n    the fact that this was the first route of the pilgrimage to Compostela.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    There are just over 100 kilometres between the Roman town of Lugo and our\n    destination. Before you start, take some time to get to know\n    <strong>its historical walled town<\/strong>.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>English Way from Ferrol<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    The entire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim.es\/en\/english-way\/\">English Way<\/a> has 122 kilometres.\n    <strong>It is the only one that you can walk entirely in just 5 days<\/strong\n    >, as its starting point is Ferrol.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    This was the route originally taken by British and Irish pilgrims, as well\n    as Scandinavian, that reached Galicia by sea and disembarked into the port\n    of Ferrol to continue their Camino by land.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>Camino to Finisterre from Santiago<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    In this case, <strong>departure will be from Santiago<\/strong> No one ever\n    said that you could not enjoy the Compostelan city and its cathedral before\n    heading off to the end of the world&#8230;\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    In just <strong>4 days you can reach your destination<\/strong> and obtain,\n    in this case, another certificate: the Fisterrana, which accredits that you\n    have completed this extension of the Camino de Santiago.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>Winter Way from Monforte de Lemos<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    The Winter Way , as its name suggests, was the route pilgrims used to take\n    to avoid the snowy hills of O Cebreiro during the coldest months of the\n    year.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    Its total course is 250 kilometres, so if you have only 5 days, Monforte de\n    Lemos would be the best starting point.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>Sanabrian Way from Ourense<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    The Sanabrian Way Way is an extension of the Silver Route, crossing Ourense\n    province as well as Pontevedra.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    If you start in Ourense, you can walk the 124 km that separate this city\n    from Santiago in just 5 days.\n  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"section-post\" id=\"10d\">\n  <h2 id=\"10d\">The Camino de Santiago in 10 days<\/h2>\n  <div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n    <figure class=\"aligncenter\">\n      <img decoding=\"async\"\n        alt=\"What Camino de Santiago to do with 10 days\"\n        class=\"wp-image-43904\"\n        src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/que-camino-escoger-10-dias-1-1024x372.jpg\"\n      \/>\n    <\/figure>\n  <\/div>\n  <p>\n    When you have 10 days to live the experience of the Camino, the\n    possibilities of starting your adventure from outside of Galician territory\n    and even from Portugal increase considerably. Here are some ideas to make\n    your Camino de Santiago if you have this number of days:\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>French Way from Ponferrada<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    If you can spend 10 days in the Camino during spring or summer, the popular\n    French Way awaits, this time from Ponferrada.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    Along a 200 km course\n    <strong\n      >you will enjoy 10 (or 9) stages of the most travelled route of the\n      Camino<\/strong\n    >, savoring the Ancares mountains and the village of O Cebreiro, the first\n    within the Galician region.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>Winter Way from Ponferrada<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    An alternative route departing from the same town is the Winter Way, which\n    avoids any possible snow in the Ancares in winter and the sometimes\n    <strong>overcrowded last few stages of the French Way<\/strong> in\n    summertime.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    From Ponferrada, you will have\n    <strong>the chance to visit Las M\u00e9dulas and the Ribeira Sacra.<\/strong> The\n    entire course is 50 km longer than along the French Way, but it is worth it.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>Portuguese Way from Porto<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    If you choose to walk the Portuguese Way, the bustling city of Porto will be\n    your departing point. This way,\n    <strong\n      >you will walk 5 days across Portugal, and another 5 across Galicia, in\n      Spain.<\/strong\n    >\n  <\/p>\n  <p>Moreover, from Porto, there are two different routes:<\/p>\n\n  <ul>\n    <li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim.es\/en\/portuguese-way\/\">Central Portuguese Way <\/a><\/li>\n    <li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim.es\/en\/camino-portugues-along-the-coast\/\">Coastal Portuguese Way<\/a><\/li>\n  <\/ul>\n  <p>\n    You can choose whether you prefer to take the most traditional route through\n    inland Portugal, or relish along the Atlantic coast.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>Northern Way from Luarca<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    The white village of Luarca is a good starting point to begin the Camino del\n    Norte in 10 days, to continue later through green landscapes and near the\n    northern coast of the country.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    Along this route you will pass through beautiful coastal villages such as\n    Ribadeo,\n    <strong>where you can visit the famous Playa de Las Catedrales<\/strong> (The\n    Cathedrals beach), a must see without any doubt.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>Camino Primitive from Oviedo<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    Oviedo itself is the starting point of\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim.es\/en\/primitive-way\/\">this route of the Camino<\/a>, so setting off from\n    here, you will be <strong>completing the entire route<\/strong>, if you have\n    the time.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    The Primitive Way <strong>is not the easiest<\/strong>: it runs through\n    mountains until Lugo, so you need to be in good shape. From there, it\n    becomes a little easier and, from Melide to Santiago, you will share the\n    path with pilgrims walking the French Way.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>Sanabrian Way from Puebla de Sanabria<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    Walking the Silver Route this is the alternative to joining the French Way\n    in Astorga, going through Ourense province, instead.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    From Puebla de Sanabria,\n    <strong\n      >you will be walking almost half of the entire Sanabrian Way.<\/strong\n    >\n    In fact, it is a very popular starting point.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>Before setting off, it is worth visiting its old town!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"section-post\" id=\"15d\">\n  <h2 id=\"15d\">The Camino de Santiago in 15 days<\/h2>\n  <div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n    <figure class=\"aligncenter\">\n      <img decoding=\"async\"\n        alt=\"What Camino de Santiago to do with 15 days\"\n        class=\"wp-image-43911\"\n        src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/que-camino-escoger-15-dias-1-1024x372.jpg\"\n      \/>\n    <\/figure>\n  <\/div>\n  <p>\n    15 days give you the opportunity\n    <strong>to dive deeper into the Camino<\/strong>\n  <\/p>\n  <p>Here are the best options for a two-week experience.<\/p>\n  <h3>French Way from Le\u00f3n<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    There are about 300 kilometres from Le\u00f3n to Santiago, one of the most\n    important towns along the French Way and\n    <strong>the second most frequent starting point,<\/strong> just after Sarria.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    In this city you can visit the impressive cathedral, famous for its\n    colourful stained glass windows, before joining many other pilgrims on your\n    way to Santiago.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>Portuguese Way from \u00c1gueda<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    The second most popular route of the Camino is always a good choice. This\n    time, the starting point would be \u00c1gueda,\n    <strong>known for its famous colourful umbrellas.<\/strong>\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    If you happen to start start in July, you might be able to enjoy the local\n    festivities, that fill a 3-week period with all sorts of cultural events in\n    what is called the Agit\u00c1gueda art festival.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    Don&#8217;t forget that, from Porto, you can choose between continuing through\n    central Portugal and diverting towards the coast.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>Northern Way from Gij\u00f3n<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    From Gij\u00f3n, you can mark the beginning of your adventure with some Asturian\n    cider. Northern Way from Gij\u00f3n\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    Although the first few steps of your Northern route will run through a\n    rather industrial area, you will soon leave that behind to give way to the\n    characteristic green landscapes of this part of Spain before reaching the\n    seafaring town of Avil\u00e9s and its historical centre.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>Sanabrian Way from Granja de Moreruela<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    In <strong>15 days<\/strong>, you can complete the entire\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim.es\/en\/sanabres-way\/\">Sanabrian Way<\/a> from its starting point: Granja\n    de Moreruela.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    This route, also referred to as the Mozarabic Way, will take you to Santiago\n    entering Galicia by A Gudi\u00f1a, where you can decide to continue via one of\n    these two towns:\n  <\/p>\n\n  <ul>\n    <li><strong>Laza<\/strong>: the shorter way<\/li>\n    <li>\n      <strong>Ver\u00edn<\/strong>: a little longer, but pasing by very interesting\n      places like Xinzo de Limia\n    <\/li>\n  <\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"section-post\" id=\"1m\">\n  <h2 id=\"1m\">The Camino de Santiago in one month<\/h2>\n  <div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n    <figure class=\"aligncenter\">\n      <img decoding=\"async\"\n        alt=\"What Camino de Santiago to do with 1 month\"\n        class=\"wp-image-43890\"\n        src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/que-camino-escoger-1-mes-1-1024x372.jpg\"\n      \/>\n    <\/figure>\n  <\/div>\n  <p>\n    If you are <strong>willing and able to face this challenge<\/strong>, here\n    are the different starting points we recommend.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    If you are willing and able to face this challenge, here are the different\n    starting points we recommend.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>French Way from Saint Jean Pied de Port<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    It will take you\n    <strong>30 days to complete the entire French Way<\/strong> from its starting\n    point, the beautiful French town of Saint Jean Pied de Port.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    Bear in mind that the first stage is quite difficult. In fact, many pilgrims\n    prefer to skip it and start in Roncesvalles, on the Spanish side of the\n    Pyrenees. Nevertheless, from Pilgrim,\n    <strong>we encourage you to start from the very beginning<\/strong> and take\n    pride in having completed the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim.es\/en\/french-way\/\">French Way<\/a> in\n    its entirety.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    After the first stage across the mountains, the rest will be a piece of\n    cake.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>Portuguese Way from Lisbon<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    The capital of Portugal is the very starting point of the\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim.es\/en\/portuguese-way\/\">Portuguese Way<\/a> From here,\n    <strong\n      >616 kilometres separate you from the Galician capital &#8211; 641 km if you opt\n      to take a diversion and visit F\u00e1tima<\/strong\n    >, famous for the appearance of the Virgin to three local shepherds.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    From here, take the time to explore Lisbon before setting off northbound and\n    delight in listening to fados, you will not want to leave! They will\n    captivate you like a siren song!\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>Northern Way from Ir\u00fan<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    The total distance between Ir\u00fan and Santiago de Compostela, along the\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim.es\/en\/northern-way\/\">Northern Way<\/a>, is 820 kilometres.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    This route is <strong>chosen by more and more pilgrims<\/strong>each year due\n    to the beauty of its landscapes, but be aware that it can be very\n    challenging too: across the Basque Country, the Camino runs mostly through\n    mountain ranges, although it will give you the chance to see important\n    cities like Donosti or Bilbao.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    Across coastal towns mountains and small villages, you will reach Arz\u00faa,\n    where the Northern Way joins the French Way until the very end at Praza do\n    Obradoiro.\n  <\/p>\n  <h3>Camino from Madrid<\/h3>\n  <p>\n    We could not leave out the Camino de Santiago route from the Spanish\n    capital, <strong>especially recommended for spring or autumn<\/strong>, when\n    temperatures are milder.\n  <\/p>\n  <p>\n    Although not many people knew about this route until recently, it is gaining\n    popularity among pilgrims. Just like the tradition said, &#8220;from your\n    doorstep&#8221;.
