Made of masonry and brick, it was fortunate not to be destroyed during the War of Independence, thanks to the artillery cannons it hid, as the rest of the village was almost completely destroyed. In 1990 the temple underwent a major restoration. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" Renaissance-style manor house built by order of the Lastra or Mex\u00eda family, natives of M\u00e9rida. <\/p>\n\n<p>Over time, this palace underwent several renovations and, despite having been
