The products of the land such as potatoes and turnip greens stand out in the locality due to their high quality.\n\nIn the confectionery of the area highlights the Bica Blanca, a kind of sponge cake typical of this municipality.  But the bica do Peliqueiro and the bica Amerela are also popular.
