These converge to form the Aguachica, one of the tributaries of the Campiazo river.<\/p> <p>From these lands originate the famous stonemasons Gonzalo G\u00fcemes Bracamonte, Francisco de Viadero Garc\u00eda de G\u00fcemes, Pedro de Cereceda and the G\u00fcemes Campero family, all of them from between the sixteenth and seventeenth century.<\/p> &lt;p\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t<div id=\"locationSection\">\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"p-h2-town\">Location<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t<hr>\n\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"p-h3-town\">How to get there<\/h3>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<p>To get to G\u00fcemes the easiest way is to go from Santander or Bilbao. The temple has a single nave structure that stands out for the corbels that adorn its north fa\u00e7ade.\n\n<p>Since its construction until the 19th century, it served the function of welcoming pilgrims following the Camino de Santiago, but in the 19th century it was abandoned and is currently in the process of recovery with the ultimate goal of becoming the headquarters of the Interpretation Center of the Camino de Santiago.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.pilgrim.es\/web\/caminos\/camino-norte\/pueblos\/guemes\/puntos-de-interes\/ermita-de-san-julian.jpg\" alt=\"Ermita de San Julia\u0301n\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion__accordion-content inactive\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Iglesia de San Vicente<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Renaissance style church of San Vicente M\u00e1rtir was built in 1677 by the sculptor Andr\u00e9s de Monasterio in the valley of the town of G\u00fcemes. Its archaeological elements stand out, which are similar to those of other houses.
