Rufino Basa\u00f1ez, E. Arg\u00e1rate and J. Larrea. The &#8220;houses of the Americans&#8221; stand out for their architectural quality, originality and innovation, and are divided into three blocks that combine volumetric composition, duplex housing and the use of color. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2006, the Bizkaia Bridge became the first ferry bridge to be built with a metal structure.\n\n<p>The Suspension Bridge has a structure made up of four iron towers 61 meters high, connected to each other by a crossbeam of about 160 meters, located 45 meters above sea level. Unlike other more industrialized train stations, this one presents a new and original architecture, combining the mountain and Basque styles.\n\n<p>At the entrance of the station, the visitor can see several coats of arms belonging to the three provinces of the Basque Country: Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa and Alava, in addition to the chains belonging to the coat of arms of Navarre. This station, which connects Santander with Bilbao, stands out for its facade with a certain style focused on romanticism, leaving aside the industrial stereotype that follows the other stations of the city of Bilbao.\n\n<p>The rest of the building has a modernist style characterized by elements such as ceramics, wrought iron or glass. In addition, the building has three facades and two of them, Gran V\u00eda and Alameda, have Corinthian columns.
