of the L\u00e9rez River on one of its significant connecting routes, the XIX road. At first, this temple was erected in the vicinity of the port in order to safeguard the city against possible plagues and epidemics that came aboard ships. At present only the chancel and the facade of the chapter house can be seen.\n\n<p>The interior of the temple houses a large set of tombstones which have several coats of arms and medieval tombs belonging to historical figures such as Paio and Sueiro Gomez de Soutomaior.
