From this place you can see the end of the course of the C\u00e1vado river as well as enjoy the views, both of the city and the surroundings of Barcelos. Besides that, it provides a panoramic view over the Monte do Sameiro and Bom Jesus in Braga and the small mountain ranges of Ger\u00eas to the east. This area has abundant natural, cultural, archaeological, religious and ethnographic heritage. It is a building in which the transition from Romanesque to Gothic can be appreciated. It was quite reformed throughout the XV and XVIII centuries. In this place is located, right in the center, a Renaissance-style cruise, probably the work of Jo\u00e3o Lopes.
