Years later it was called a free village until the 13th century and, in 1296, D. Dinis, known as King Labrador, ordered the sowing of all the surrounding lands.\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t<div id=\"locationSection\">\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"p-h2-town\">Location<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t<hr>\n\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"p-h3-town\">How to get there<\/h3>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<p>To get to Azambuja the easiest way is to go towards Villa Franca on the A-1\/E-1 or, if coming from the A-6, take the A-13 and then the A-10 until you reach Carragado and take the N-3 towards Azambuja. If you are coming from the north, take the A-15 or the E-1 before Santar\u00e9m, then take the N-3 towards the village.\n\n<p>To go by bus you have to go to Sintra or Lisbon and take a bus (comboios urbanos) to Azambuja. In addition, this museum aims to watch over the wine produced by small producers.\n\n<p>This museum allows the visitor to interact in the different spaces and, in these are shown pieces related to wine production. This church was built in the 16th century, although it underwent several restorations in the following centuries. <\/p>\n\n<p>The temple has three naves and is covered with tiles dating from the eighteenth century. In addition, inside the temple you can appreciate different paintings depicting the &#8220;Jesse tree&#8221;. The museum, which has been active since 2004, houses a permanent exhibition called &#8220;Quotidianos: Recordar;Conhecer e Aprender&#8221; as well as a series of temporary collections that invite you to learn about the most traditional ethnographic resources of the region. This property, which covers approximately two hundred hectares of land, is located in the town of Azambuja and, more specifically, belongs to the Tagus Wine Region, an area of great scenic wealth.\n\n<p>It is located in an old manor house, dating from the eighteenth century, so the winery also has a long tradition, both for its heritage and its link to Portuguese families of the nobility. <\/p>\n\n<p>The Vila Quinta de Fornos witnessed important historical events.
