It is prolonged by the horizontal platform that runs along its north and east sides, used until the mid-twentieth century as threshing floors. It is currently inhabited by the congregation of the Franciscan Poor Clare Sisters. It is a building constructed in ashlar, masonry and brick. It was the Royal Pantheon of the kings of Navarre and is located on the route of the Camino de Santiago.\n\n<p>A legend arose around its foundation that tells how the king, while hunting, stalked his prey to a grotto where he found an enigmatic image of the Virgin along with a vase of lilies, a bell and a lamp.
