little more than 20 km of this stage. Dr. Henrique Barros\n\t\t\t\t\tLima until we reach the Hospital Valentim Ribeiro, in an elegant historic building, where\n\t\t\t\t\twe turn left along Av. Rocha Gon\u00e7alves to return to the estuary of the C\u00e1davo River.\n\t\t\t\t\tAfter 800 metres we pass the fort of S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o Baptista, behind which stands a small\n\t\t\t\t\tlighthouse; we follow Av. dos Banhos parallel to the sea, although it soon turns inland. It\n\t\t\t\t\tis now time to turn left into Rua da Agrela, with trees and fields on both sides, which\n\t\t\t\t\teventually brings us to the village of Marinhas. Turn right into Rua da Praia and cross the\n\t\t\t\t\tN-13 road, on the other side of which is the S\u00e3o Sebasti\u00e3o Chapel and the Red Cross\n\t\t\t\t\tbuilding.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 4,3 &#8231; Marinhas<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\tWe follow the street to the church of S\u00e3o Miguel, and turn right. After the Environmental\n\t\t\t\t\tEducation Centre we turn left into Rua de S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o, and soon pass the chapel of S\u00e3o\n\t\t\t\t\tJo\u00e3o do Monte. Via Rua da Ponte Nova, Rua da Estrada Velha and Estrada Real we\n\t\t\t\t\tarrive at the building of the Centro C\u00edvico de Mar.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 7 &#8231; Mar (Esposende)<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\tWe continue in the same direction, following the arrows through the streets of the town.\n\t\t\t\t\tOnce on Rua Padre Almeida we pass by a school where there is a wall painting that\n\t\t\t\t\tgreets pilgrims, and we arrive at the church of Belinho, with a cruceiro (stone cross).\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 8,2 &#8231; Belinho<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\tWe continue straight on along the same Rua Padre Almeida, and pass the Quinta do\n\t\t\t\t\tPara\u00edso residential estate, which we go round to the left. The cobbled Rua Bar\u00e3o de\n\t\t\t\t\tMaracan\u00e1 becomes a dirt track, with stone walls on both sides, along which we reach a\n\t\t\t\t\troad where there is a chapel; we follow its pavement to the left for 200 metres, passing a\n\t\t\t\t\tstone cross, and leave it on the right. We are now in the parish of Antas.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 5,8 &#8231; Antas<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\tWe soon reach the junction with the EN-13 road, cross it and continue straight on along\n\t\t\t\t\tthe narrow Rua da Carvalha, between houses and stone walls; this continues along a\n\t\t\t\t\tdownhill dirt track that enters the forest.\n\t\t\t\t\tAfter passing a crossroads with a large Jacobean monolith in stone, a narrow and\n\t\t\t\t\tbeautiful path begins on the left that descends to the Neiva river bed, next to the old\n\t\t\t\t\tGuilheta mill or azenha de Guilheta. The river, which is usually quite fast-flowing, is\n\t\t\t\t\tcrossed by a pontella or platform of granite tiles without a handrail.\n\t\t\t\t\tOnce on the other side, we continue to the right along a strongly ascending cobbled\n\t\t\t\t\ttrack, passing between the houses of the Rua da Cima neighbourhood, until we reach the\n\t\t\t\t\tChapel of N. S. de Guadalupe.\n\t\t\t\t\tWe continue to the right until we reach the junction with the EN-13-3 road; this is where\n\t\t\t\t\tthe Travessa de Santiago starts, a paved shortcut with a steep climb that will lead us to\n\t\t\t\t\tthe church of S\u00e3o Tiago.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 13 &#8231; Castelo do Neiva<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\tOur route continues in the direction of a car park area; once there, we turn right and take\n\t\t\t\t\ta dirt track that starts a sharp climb, bordering the cemetery; this is the start of another\n\t\t\t\t\tvery beautiful stretch through the forest, with a succession of dirt tracks and some\n\t\t\t\t\tcobbled climbs. We pass the houses in the Monte neighbourhood, which belongs to the\n\t\t\t\t\tparish of Neiva, and once again enter the forest until we reach the baroque church of the\n\t\t\t\t\tmonastery of S\u00e3o Rom\u00e3o de Neiva.\n\t\t\t\t\tWe pass the church and its cemetery and continue along the road that leads off to the\n\t\t\t\t\tleft, going slightly uphill. In just a few minutes we enter the village of Chaf\u00e9.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 17,6 &#8231; Chaf\u00e9<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\tWhen we reach the cemetery, we turn left and follow a string of cobbled streets until we\n\t\t\t\t\tenter the parish of Vila Nova de Anha. We arrive in front of the parish church of S\u00e3o\n\t\t\t\t\tTiago and, in front of it, there is a small neoclassical chapel where we can stamp our\n\t\t\t\t\tcredentials.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 19,9 &#8231; Anha<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\tAfter crossing the town we take a paved road through fields and woods, which takes us to\n\t\t\t\t\tan industrial park; after a segment of downhill sandy road we arrive at Darque, very close\n\t\t\t\t\tto Viana do Castelo.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 22,6 &#8231; Darque<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\tWe continue along the pavement of the N-13 road until we reach a roundabout, after\n\t\t\t\t\twhich we continue straight ahead to cross the great Eiffel Bridge over the River Lima,\n\t\t\t\t\twhich has two levels: the upper deck for cars and pedestrians, and the lower one for the\n\t\t\t\t\trailways.
