stage<\/h3>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\n\t\t\t<p>Through San Xil or through Samos? A big dilemma, as both are paths of the utmost\n\t\t\t\tinterest. Through the San Xil valley we cross one of the most beautiful valleys of the\n\t\t\t\tentire Jacobean route; through Samos, 7.2 km longer, we cross spectacular oak and\n\t\t\t\tchestnut forests on the banks of the river Oribio (or Sarria), and we also visit the\n\t\t\t\textraordinary Monastery of Samos.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t<p>In this stage we can enjoy magical and silent natural environments between forests and\n\t\t\t\tvillages that do not have too many services for the pilgrim, so getting supplies in the\n\t\t\t\tmiddle of this stage is much more complicated than at any other point on our way.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\n\n\t\t\t<div class=\"recomendation-card\">\n\t\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"icon-logo-pilgrim\"><\/i>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h5>Recommendation Pilgrim<\/h5>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\n\t\t\t\t<p>For pilgrims on bicycles this is an easy stage as it is mostly on asphalt, so we should only take\n\t\t\t\t\textreme caution with cars because there are many places where the hard shoulder is non-existent. If\n\t\t\t\t\twe choose the option of Samos, when we leave this place we can decide to continue on asphalt towards\n\t\t\t\t\tSarria instead of facing the ascent by the marked route to Pascais. We will face small sections that\n\t\t\t\t\tare complicated both for cyclists and for people with reduced mobility due to the loose stones that\n\t\t\t\t\tin rainy seasons can complicate our way.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t<p>People with reduced mobility or low physical condition may encounter difficulties on the steep slopes\n\t\t\t\t\talong the stage and in the most neglected areas where we may even find fallen trees and branches\n\t\t\t\t\tcomplicating our passage. After almost two kilometres we reach the\n\t\t\t\t\t\tAlto de Riocabo and continue in the same direction. We continue along a beautiful\n\t\t\t\t\t\tcorridor crossing a forest dominated by chestnut and oak trees.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t\t<div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 6,7 &#8231; Mont\u00e1n<\/h4>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tWe keep descending, pass through the village of Fontearcuda, cross the LU-P-5602 road\n\t\t\t\t\t\tand, a little further on, we join this same road and follow it to Furela.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t\t<div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 9,9 &#8231; Furela<\/h4>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tOn leaving Furela we cross the LU-P-5602 road again and follow a path parallel to it.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t\t<div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 11,1 &#8231; Pint\u00edn<\/h4>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tWe continue in the same direction, return to the road and turn left.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 12,7 &#8231; Calvor<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tWe walk a few metres along the LU-P-5602 road until we cross it and take a path on the\n\t\t\t\t\t\tright.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 13,3 &#8231; Aguiada<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tWe return along the same LU-P-5602 and follow it in parallel.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 14 &#8231; San Mamede do Cami\u00f1o<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tAlong a pedestrian path parallel to the LU-P-5602 road we reach Sarria. We come through\n\t\t\t\t\t\tthe r\u00faa Calvo Sotelo (LU-633 road): we cross it and continue straight on along the r\u00faa\n\t\t\t\t\t\tMestre Saavedra and the r\u00faa do Peregrino. We must follow the road to\n\t\t\t\t\t\tRenche. There are yellow arrows painted on the right-hand side of the road, but there is a\n\t\t\t\t\t\tgreater risk as we walk in the same direction as the traffic.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t\t<div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 5,6 &#8231; Renche<\/h4>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tWe cross the river Oribio, known as the river Sarria from this point onwards. Close to the river\n\t\t\t\t\t\twe climb up to the village of Lastres, where we take a path to reach Freituxe.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 7,3 &#8231; Freituxe<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tWe cross the village and begin the descent to the next village.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 8,6 &#8231; San Marti\u00f1o do Real<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tWe cross the LU-633 road through a tunnel and continue towards Samos, which houses a 17th\n\t\t\t\t\t\tcentury Benedictine monastery surrounded by an imposing wall and which is open to anyone who\n\t\t\t\t\t\twishes to visit it. Just a hundred metres away is another building of great interest, the Chapel\n\t\t\t\t\t\tof the Saviour, of Mozarabic origin and built in the 9th century, guarded by a tree recognised\n\t\t\t\t\t\tas one of the 50 most important trees in Spain and known as the millenary cypress.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 10,2 &#8231; Samos<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tIn Samos they make famous sponge cakes following the recipe of the monastery with more than 250\n\t\t\t\t\t\tyears of history. We cross the village along the main avenue and take the LU-663 road. We pass a\n\t\t\t\t\t\tmonument to the pilgrim and reach Teigu\u00edn, where we can find tables to enjoy lunch or sit down\n\t\t\t\t\t\tto rest for a few minutes. We leave the road to take a path that will lead us up a steep climb\n\t\t\t\t\t\ttowards Pascais.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 13,4 &#8231; Pascais<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tAfter Pascais we will descend by a \u2018corredeira\u2019 on the left hand side.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 15,3 &#8231; Gorolfe<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tWe continue along several tarmac roads to Sivil.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 18,6 &#8231; Sivil<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tWe say goodbye to the municipality of Samos and enter the municipality of Sarria through Perros.\n\t\t\t\t\t\tAfter crossing the road we reach Aguiada. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 20,5 &#8231; Aguiada<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tThis is the point of connection with the pilgrims coming from the San Xil by-pass.
