stage<\/h3>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\n\t\t\t<p>Less than two hundred kilometres separate us from Santiago de Compostela and today\n\t\t\t\twe will open the doors of Galicia, specifically through the mountain pass of O Cebreiro, a\n\t\t\t\tpre-Romanesque settlement where we can look out over the Galician community from its\n\t\t\t\tfamous pallozas. Many pilgrims choose to begin their journey here, given the importance\n\t\t\t\tof this place and the beauty of it, a place that certainly will not leave anyone indifferent.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\n\n\t\t\t<div class=\"recomendation-card\">\n\t\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"icon-logo-pilgrim\"><\/i>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h5>Recommendation Pilgrim<\/h5>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\n\t\t\t\t<p>This a hard and complicated stage. People with reduced mobility are not able to do it due to all the\n\t\t\t\t\tslopes that it has. The worst part is between Hospital and La Faba. We recommend you continue\n\t\t\t\t\tthrough the N-VI until getting to O Cebreiro. Cyclists should pay attention between Perexe and A\n\t\t\t\t\tPortela, in some parts they have to share the road with other vehicles. At the end of Herrer\u00edas we\n\t\t\t\t\trecommend cyclist continue through the road because ascend to O Cebreiro is very complicated.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t<p>In opposition with previous stages, today we won&#8217;t have any problem to find any kind of service along\n\t\t\t\t\tthe Way. We continue straight on (historical path) along a secondary road, which\n\t\t\t\t\tlater leads to the N-VI national road, with hardly any traffic. We continue along the hard\n\t\t\t\t\tshoulder of the national road, protected from the traffic by a concrete wall about 80 cm\n\t\t\t\t\thigh, next to the river Valcarce and under the viaducts of the A-6 motorway. We reach\n\t\t\t\t\tPereje via a turning on the right.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t<a class=\"town-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim.es\/en\/french-way\/villafranca-del-bierzo\/\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"town-link__link-content\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"town-link__link-content__text\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Local Information<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Police, Medical Care, What to See, Where to Eat&#8230;<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"town-link__link-content__town-btn\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"icon-arrow\"><\/i>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 5,1 &#8231; Pereje<\/h4>\n\n\t\t\t\t<p>We cross the village along its main street and at the exit we return to the hard shoulder of\n\t\t\t\t\tthe national road. Trabadelo can also be reached by a detour on the right.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 9,6 &#8231; Trabadelo<\/h4>\n\n\t\t\t\t<p>We walk through Trabadelo along its main street-road to join the national road N-VI\n\t\t\t\t\tagain; we follow it, passing twice under the large viaducts of the A-6 motorway. We enter\n\t\t\t\t\tLa Portela de Valcarce via a street on the left-hand side of the main road.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t<p>At the exit we join the national road again; we follow it for 400 metres and take a local\n\t\t\t\t\troad to Ambasmestas on the left. We follow the same road; before reaching Vega de\n\t\t\t\t\tValcarce we cross under the A-6 motorway.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 16,3 &#8231; Vega de Valcarce<\/h4>\n\n\t\t\t\t<p>We go through the same local road uphill; at the entrance to Ruitel\u00e1n we join the national\n\t\t\t\t\troad N-VI. We follow the national road N-VI until we turn left onto the local road towards\n\t\t\t\t\tLas Herrer\u00edas. We enter this village after crossing the river Valcarce over a small Roman\n\t\t\t\t\tbridge.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 19,7 &#8231; Las Herrer\u00edas<\/h4>\n\n\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\tWe continue on the same road, now with a steeper climb. We take a dirt track on the left\n\t\t\t\t\thand side and here we start a nice stretch along corredoiras (paths from the cattles to the\n\t\t\t\t\tpastures). After overcoming a stream, we start a steady and interesting zigzagging ascent\n\t\t\t\t\ttowards La Faba.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 23,1 &#8231; La Faba<\/h4>\n\n\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\tThe climb moderates progressively; we advance along pretty paths between pastures,\n\t\t\t\t\tnow with clearer views that give us wonderful panoramic views. We continue in the same\n\t\t\t\t\tdirection, advancing halfway up the slopes of a mountain range and slowly gaining\n\t\t\t\t\taltitude. After just over a kilometre, we enter Galicia; a stone cairn marks the entrance to\n\t\t\t\t\tthe last Autonomous Community on the route, and indicates that there are only 152 km\n\t\t\t\t\tleft to Santiago de Compostela.
