stage<\/h3>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\n\t\t\t<p>We will climb one of the highest peaks on this route, the Cruz de Ferro on Mount Irago,\n\t\t\t\tfrom where we will start a steep descent until we reach Ponferrada. We say goodbye to\n\t\t\t\tthe vast and inhospitable Castilian plains to be greeted by the Bierzo mountains and their\n\t\t\t\tprolific vegetation, which will accompany us on one of the toughest stages for our legs.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\n\n\t\t\t<div class=\"recomendation-card\">\n\t\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"icon-logo-pilgrim\"><\/i>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h5>Recommendation Pilgrim<\/h5>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\n\t\t\t\t<p>Cyclists will find many dangerous points, such as descend to Riego de Ambr\u00f3s. We recommend them do it\n\t\t\t\t\tthrough the national road as we explained in the itinerary. For inexperienced cyclists we recommend\n\t\t\t\t\tdo all this stage to Molinesca through the national road LE-142. It happens the same to people with\n\t\t\t\t\treduced mobility so we recommend the same that we recommend to cyclists. At the exit we leave the ruins of a\n\t\t\t\t\tsanctuary on our left and follow the track that turns to the right along a hillside; we gain\n\t\t\t\t\taltitude until we reach the LE-142 road, which we cross and continue on the left.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t<a class=\"town-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim.es\/en\/french-way\/foncebadon\/\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"town-link__link-content\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"town-link__link-content__text\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Local Information<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Police, Medical Care, What to See, Where to Eat&#8230;<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"town-link__link-content__town-btn\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"icon-arrow\"><\/i>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 1,9 &#8231; Cruz de Ferro<\/h4>\n\n\t\t\t\t<p>We walk along a path on the right side of the road.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 4,2 &#8231; Manjar\u00edn<\/h4>\n\n\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\tWe continue along the path to the left of the road, which we later cross. We continue\n\t\t\t\t\talong another path to the right of the road and one kilometre further on we reach the\n\t\t\t\t\thighest point of the French Camino: 1,505 metres above sea level. Once past this point,\n\t\t\t\t\twe start to descend: the scenery of the Montes de Le\u00f3n and the valley of El Bierzo is\n\t\t\t\t\tmagnificent. Finally, we cross the LE-142 road again and face a steep descent along a\n\t\t\t\t\tstony track to El Acebo de San Miguel.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 11,2 &#8231; El Acebo de San Miguel<\/h4>\n\n\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\tWe leave the LE-142 road and after a couple of kilometres we take a path on the left.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 14,5 &#8231; Riego de Ambr\u00f3s<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\tAt the exit we descend through a beautiful wooded stretch. Shortly afterwards we come\n\t\t\t\t\tacross the LE-142 road; we follow it for 150 metres and take another dirt track on the\n\t\t\t\t\tright. We continue the descent, along dirt and stony paths. Before reaching Molinaseca\n\t\t\t\t\twe join the LE-142 road again; we leave the sanctuary of the Virgen de las Angustias on\n\t\t\t\t\tour right and enter the Old Town, crossing the Puente de los Peregrinos over the river\n\t\t\t\t\tMeruelo.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 19,1 &#8231; Molinaseca<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\tCross Molinaseca along Calle Real and take the LE-142 road towards Ponferrada. A\n\t\t\t\t\thundred metres ahead of the municipal hostel we take a road on the right. After about\n\t\t\t\t\tthree kilometres we come to a fork in the road: we can reach Ponferrada by following the\n\t\t\t\t\tsame road or by following the signposted path along a track to the left of the road. We,\n\t\t\t\t\ttherefore, follow this track, first on asphalt, then on dirt.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 23,5 &#8231; Campo<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\tWe continue through the streets of the outskirts of Ponferrada, go over the river Boeza by\n\t\t\t\t\tthe Mascar\u00f3n bridge and cross the railway line at the top. To reach the centre of\n\t\t\t\t\tPonferrada we continue straight on, along the streets Cruz Miranda and Jardines, until we\n\t\t\t\t\tget to the Town Hall square.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n\n\t\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t<h4>Km 26,8 &#8231;
