ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Roncesvalles
We offer you two possibilities: we can book you a bike and take it to the starting point or, if you prefer it, we take your own bike from your home to the starting point.
Day 2: Roncesvalles – Pamplona (42 km/26 miles)
You will wake up at the Roncesvalles accommodation which includes a good energy breakfast in order to start the day with the batteries charged and you will begin the stage to Pamplona. On the way it is important to make stops in places like the church of St. Nicholas de Bari, the medieval stelae of the Cemetery of Espinal, the bridge of Rabia or the bridge of Ultzama.
After crossing beautiful natural landscapes you will arrive in Pamplona, internationally recognized for the San Fermines fiestas, you will be able to visit different points of interest such as the Church of San Nicolás, Plaza del Castillo, the walled line that can be visited by Ronda Barbazana promenade, the Cathedral Santa María or the gardens of La Taconera.
Day 3: Pamplona – Estella (42 km/26 miles)
You will wake up in Pamplona’s lodging, which includes a good energy breakfast so that you can start the day with the batteries charged and begin the journey to Estella. On the way, it is important to make stops in places like the Church of San Andrés de Zariquiegui, the Church of Santiago in Puente la Reina, or the Church of San Román.
After arriving in Estella, you will be able to visit different points of interest and enjoy emblematic places such as the Basilica del Puy, the Church of San Miguel, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre or the Palace of the Kings of Navarra.
Day 4: Estella – Logroño (50 km/31 miles)

Day 5: Logroño – Santo Domingo de la Calzada (49km/30 miles)

On the way, it is important to make stops in places such as the remains of the Church of San Juan de Acre, the Monastery of Santa María la Real or the Monastery of Suso y Yuso, declared a World Heritage Site.
You will arrive in Santo Domingo de la Calzada, you can make visits to different points of interest such as the Cathedral or the Interpretation Center of the Camino de Santiago.
Day 6: Santo Domingo de la Calzada – Burgos (72 km/45 miles)
You will wake up in the lodging of Santo Domingo de la Calzada which includes a good energy breakfast to start the day with the batteries charged and you will begin the stage to Burgos. On the way, it is important to make stops in places like the Church of San Pedro, the Hermitage of Nuestra Señora de la Peña in Tosantos or the prehistoric site of Atapuerca.
After arriving in Burgos, you will be able to visit different points of interest and enjoy emblematic places such as the Arco de Santa María, the Casa de Miranda and Íñigo Angulo, the Castle and its viewpoint or the Monastery of San Pedro de Cardeña.
Day 7: Burgos – Carrión de los Condes (87 km/54 miles)

On the way it is important to make stops in places such as the San Antón General Hospital, the Cloister of the Church of San Juan, the Church of San Martín in Frómista or the church of Santa María la Blanca.
Finally, you will arrive at Carrión de los Condes, where you can visit different points of interest such as the Royal Monastery of San Zoilo or the Church of Santiago.
Day 8: Carrión de los Condes– León (93 km/58 miles)
You will wake up in the lodging of Carrión de los Condes, which includes a good energy breakfast to start the day with the batteries charged and begin the stage to Leon. On the way it is important to make stops in places like the Shrine of the Pilgrim MTA, the Canto Bridge, the Church of San Tirso (all of them are in the town of Sahagún) or the Monastery of Santa María de Sandoval.
After crossing beautiful landscapes you will arrive in León, where you can visit different points of interest such as the mansions and palaces of its historic quarter, the Cathedral of León, the Convent of San Marcos or the Jewish quarter.

Day 9: León – Astorga (54 km/33 miles)

You will wake up in the lodging of León, which includes a good energy breakfast to start the day with the batteries charged and you will begin the stage to Astorga. On the way it is important to make stops in places such as Puente de Órbigo or the Church of San Juan Bautista.
After arriving in Astorga, you will be able to visit different points of interest and enjoy emblematic places such as the Roman sewers and forum, the Episcopal Palace or the Roman thermal baths.

Day 10: Astorga Stage – Ponferrada (53 km)

You will wake up at the Astorga lodge, which includes a good energy breakfast to start the day with the batteries charged and begin the stage to Ponferrada. On the way it is important to make stops in places such as the Hermitage of the Blessed Christ of the Vera Cruz or the church of Nuestra Señora de la Encina del Campo.
After arriving in Ponferrada, you will be able to visit different points of interest and enjoy emblematic places such as the Clock Tower, the most characteristic icon of Ponferrada, the church of Santo Tomás de las Ollas, the Church of Santa María de Vizbayo or the Castle of the Templars.

Day 11: Ponferrada – O Cebreiro (55 km/34 miles)

You will wake up in Ponferrada’s lodging which includes a good energy breakfast to start the day with the batteries charged and you will begin the stage to O Cebreiro, the first stop in Galicia. On the way it is important to make stops in places like the Church of Santiago de Peñalba or the Convent of San Francisco.
You will arrive at O Cebreiro, you can visit different points of interest such as the Church of Santa María la Real, the Chapel of Santo Milagro or the pallozas, which are typical buildings of this area.

Day 12: O Cebrerio – Portomarín (62 km/39 miles)

You will wake up in the lodging of O Cebreiro, which includes a good energy breakfast to start the day with the batteries charged and you will begin the stage to Portomarín. On the way it is important to make stops in places like the church of San Xoán, the Chapel of San Pedro, the Monastery of Samos or the Chapel of Ciprés.
You will arrive at Portomarín where you can visit different points of interest such as Manuel de Blas Park or the staircase and chapel of Virxe das Neves.

Day 13: Portomarín – Arzúa (53 km/33 miles)

You will wake up in Portomarín’s lodging, which includes a good energy breakfast to start the day with the batteries charged and you will begin the stage to Arzúa. On the way it is important to make stops in places like Castro Castro de Castromaior, Pambre Castle or the church of Santa María de Melide.
After arriving in Arzúa, you will be able to visit different points of interest such as the Vivente do Mel museum, Fonte Santa or the chapel and convent of La Magdalena. Moreover, you can’t leave Arzúa without trying its Arzúa – Ulloa Denomination of Origin cheese.

Day 14: Arzúa– Santiago de Compostela (39 km/24 miles)

You will wake up in Arzúa’s lodging which includes a good energy breakfast to start the day with the batteries charged and you will begin the stage to Santiago de Compostela, finally the destination is very close and soon you will see for the first time the towers of the Cathedral from Monte do Gozo. Strolling through the monumental area you will advance with the nervousness of reaching the Plaza del Obradoiro and feel the satisfaction of having fulfilled the objective.

Day 15: Santiago de Compostela

Breakfast in the lodging. Free day to visit all those monuments that, besides the Cathedral, make up the great capital of Galicia.
